THESSALY. Larissa. Circa 440-400 BC. Drachm (Silver, 20 mm, 6.07 g, 6 h). Thessalos, with petasos and cloak over his shoulders, striding right, holding a band around the head of a rushing bull. Rev. ΛAP-IΣA Bridled horse with trailing rein galloping to right; all within incuse square. BCD Thessaly II 171 var. (longer ethnic). Lightly toned and attractive. Good very fine.
